**About Maisoon Sorour**
Maisoon Sorour is an Egyptian writer and musician, born and raised in an environment that encourages arts and culture. She graduated from the Academy of Languages and Translation in 1998, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Languages and Translation (Spanish & English Department).
Maisoon continued her studies in music, obtaining a diploma from the British Academy in Music Theory and Guitar in 2001. From 2013 to 2021, she published more than 16 novels for adults, in addition to a collection of poems published in national newspapers.
Maisoon began her professional career as a music teacher and concert director in international schools, continuing to develop her musical skills that she started learning from childhood. She has been writing poetry and creating stories since she was young, which contributed to her passion for literature.
Maisoon is considered an example of creativity in both literature and music, combining them in her works, making her one of the prominent names in the Egyptian cultural scene.
